Harley Bernard, B. Eng. (Hons.), LL.B.
Harley Bernard has practiced with Kelly & Co. since his call to the Bar in 2011. Harley has a general practice, having experience practicing family law, civil litigation, business and commercial law, employment, appellate litigation, wills and estates, municipal law and administrative law, real estate, human rights and enforcement/collections. Harley has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Court of Appeal for Ontario and various boards and tribunals across the province.
Harley realizes that every client's situation is different and is dedicated to finding the path that best suits his clients' needs. Harley's practice is focused on family and civil litigation and, in true Kelly & Co. fashion, is not afraid to litigate.
Harley is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Waterloo Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association. Harley's interests outside the courtroom mirror his versatility in it: from kendo, squash and hiking to fauvist art and a partiality for opinionated Irish playwrights.
