Controlled Goods

The Controlled Goods Program is a domestic industrial program aimed at protecting Canada's defence trade through registration, prevention, deterrence and detection. Controlled goods are items such as munitions, firearms, bombs, torpedoes, military vehicles and vessels, chemical and biological materials, navigation systems, avionics and missile technology. Employees in any Canadian company involved in a business that includes defence articles or services must have an understanding, and be registered, pursuant to the Defence Production Act and the Controlled Goods Regulations.

Kelly & Co. is one of the select law firms across Canada registered to deal with controlled goods. For a better understanding of controlled goods, export controls or for an idea about how Kelly & Co. can help with your controlled goods issue, please contact us at (519) 579-3360 in order to make an appointment.
